For the first time in days I'm home alone. No kids home yet, Baba is at a neighbor's doing an oil change, and my laptop/internet are working (for the time being). It's quiet, except for the off and on of the furnace and even the dog is snoozing. Which, come to think of it, is his preferred indoor activity next to being stroked and loved on.
I've been enjoying my Kindle, working on knitting, or at least trying to. Baba seems to have radar where my knitting is concerned. He thinks it's too fun, I guess, but not to be considered work. Besides, he's missed me, I guess. ;)
We're now early church people. Baba has decided that he wants to go to early church so we have more of the day free. I'm not a morning person but if it gets him to church every week I'll do it. And it does allow us to meet up with my family for lunch. The kids really need to spend more time with their cousins. So it's worth it. And besides, one of these days maybe we'll get back to taking Sunday afternoon naps. LOL
Things are starting to move along on the new business venture. We're more or less done with the house de-cluttering, or at least to the point where we can start organizing and planning on the business. I'm starting to get excited. I'm looking forward to working with Baba but have to worry about familiarity breeding contempt. After so many years of being on my own it's nice to have him here and do stuff with him, but working together in a small space might be a bit too much closeness. LOL But I'll take it.
