Party Time!
Tonight a friend from work had a party. If you've never partied with Arabic women, you don't know what you're missing. No men, no alcohol...some people would think that's boring. Not at all. The hijabs come off, the hair comes down, the cleavage comes out...and a good time's had by all.
I can just say that I really hope my friend's neighbors really like her.

"...the cleavage comes out..."
Why is this important if the men aren't around?
It's cool that the women don't have to always be completely covered in black. Does the hijab go over the other clothes or are they worn separately?
The hijab is the head scarf. It's worn either with western clothing or abeya.
Not all abeyas are black. They come in different colors and even denim.
If Anonymous is reading (I really need something else to call you), feel free to pipe in. :)
I wonder how long it will take me to remember the proper names for each. Sorry about that. I didn't realize the abeyas could be other than black. Can they be bright and colourful? Do they have fashions with abeyas?
