The Magic is Gone

It's bad enough we pay for water and then get it only every other day, and even less in summer.
It's bad enough we spend half a day on generator and it's illegal to choose to use solar power or windmills if you don't want to be forced to pay the outrageous cost if a generator.
NOW we are no longer allowed to use Magic Jack, thanks to the telecommunications company here. The phone company owns the Internet here. We don't get ours through them. We use a private company but ours gets it from them. And they've blocked Magic Jack.
I don't know if Skype users have the same problem or not, but since we're leaving in TWO AND A HALF WEEKS, it doesn't matter anyway. But it sure makes those necessary overseas calls much more expensive.
