This book is terrific! The trilogy is soooo good. I love the characters (except for Victor Frankenstein, of course) and even the members of the New Race are fun to eavesdrop on. I've always loved how Koontz writes dialogue and this doesn't disappoint me at all. I find myself laughing out loud at the things the characters say.
A few years ago I bought "Life Expectancy" by Koontz. That one had me hooked all the way through. I reread it twice. Unfortunately it was in a sack of books that someone left on my terrace all winter. I know it wasn't me. I'm not that dumb. If I ever find out who did it, that person had better run! There several books that I'd reread and want to again. {sigh}
Anyway, I'm hoping that I get my bathrooms and kitchen cleaned tomorrow early enough to read. I plan to bake a cake so maybe I'll indulge all the way.
