Apparently I'm not the only one who doesn't care for the locals' driving antics. Here are some editorials from last Friday's edition of an English-language newspaper.

While looking for these articles I found this one. This is the perfect description of the cats in this country. We had one we adopted for a while. Baba was too allergic to tolerate him anymore though and we gave him back to our friend. He was very sweet and affectionate, but don't expect Elektra to agree with me though. It took at least a good month for them to stop growling at each other. About the time they were snuggling together on Elektra's rug, he left. When they saw each other a few weeks later, they were back at the growling at each other. Oh, well.

Oh my! I didn't go read the article, but I'm assuming no one survived this crash.
You would think people would try to drive a little safer after seeing something like that!
