During my stretching class (which I was amazed to survive considering the pain I was in from my sunburn) I received a call from L, a friend of SIL's, saying that she and FIL were wanting to head up to visit us and see what time we'd be home. They came up for a visit and the kids had fun. While they were there Aunt arrived with Baba's cousin, his uncle's son, who is 15. That's when the fun really started.
E has been a family favorite for years. When we first visited Lebanon 10 years ago, E was only 5 years old. He was crazy about the Boss from the start. I'll never forget visiting his parents home. He and his older sister had a blast playing with the Boss. When it was time for the Boss to go to sleep we put him on E's bed. But E wasn't ready to say goodnight just yet. He and his sister went out on the balcony, which winds around, and watched him sleep from the open window.
When we first visited Lebanon with the twins for their baptism, he spent a few days with us in our rented apartment. The boys had a blast. We rode the teleferique (that our friend renamed the teleferique-me-out) up to Our Lady of Lebanon.
It's funny, but I really don't remember giving E permission to grow up. I certainly didn't give him permission to turn 15. So if he's this grown up, what's his sister like? Oh, my!
