Could it be? I think so!
The Boss saw the doctor yesterday and the clear came back normal. It turns out that the process that prepared him for the endoscopy and colonoscopy last week may have fixed the problem. He's been almost pain-free ever since. The few times he's had pain it's been very mild and gone away after a bit. So, he keeps taking the medicine and we see the doctor in a month. Whoohoo!
He's also thrilled that he's going to spend spring break with his dad in q8. They're going to have some guy time without the Peanuts or Mom around. He's so thrilled.
I spent the day with A yesterday making maamoul, delicious, rich, filled cookies. They are either filled with chopped walnuts or dates. Yummy! I'll have to post pics as soon as I can get them into my computer. The recipe too.
The Little Prince is not one to take anyone's word at face value. He has to test it. If he asks if I have any gum he can't accept a simple "no". He has to go look through my purse and see for himself. That can be a wonderful trait to have, but there is a downside.Yesterday when I picked up the kids from school I asked the Little Prince's teacher how he was. She said that he had been sent to the office for hitting another boy in the class. When we got to the playground where we wait for the Boss I asked him what happened. He said, "B told me that nothing hurts him. So I punched him and he cried. He lied."
It's really hard to be serious when you're trying to not to laugh your head off.
