Having spent the previous 4 days at the hospital (even after coming home, the Boss still had to go back for one more test) the house was kind of pitiful. So today I caught up on laundry and cleaned the heck out of it. OK, not the thorough cleaning it gets when I do certain jobs on certain days, but I did clean it and mop it and it looks and smells good. I still have 2 bottles of DAC from Kuwait (I love Arabian Jasmine) and so the house really smells good.
The Boss woke up with no stomach pain. He does have a small hernia and a small ulcer but they're too small to cause this pain. However, I'm sure they're playing at least a small part somehow. Also, while it could be more stress related (7th grade-need I say more?), I do notice a difference when he's just had a good, um, cleansing, before a procedure. Therefore I'm going to be compulsive about making him take the powder for keeping him regular.
The Peanuts have had a rough few days too. I haven't been around as much and things have been busy. They know that the Boss has been getting lots of attention from me and has gotten to be in the hospital (something they consider a treat, btw). The Little Prince was being very temperamental the other night and fortunately I had the insight to realize it had to do more with wanting more from met rather than just him being in a mood. I gave him a big hug and told him that whenever he wants some loving attention from me to just come up and say so. He doesn't have to act out. I'm hoping that if I keep telling him that he'll start to believe it. LOL
Well, the house is clean and it's time to get the kids. Hopefully I'll have something more profound to write about soon.
