I'm sore again. Yesterday I took Elektra with me on my walk and I guess she much walk faster than I do. My legs are so sore and my arms are sore from holding them differently than normal. DH asked why I don't just walk to the part since I could cross at the light. I told him that when we started walking I was having to hold Elektra back to heel. Then after awhile she was heeling properly. Then toward the end she was lagging a little behind a proper heel. If I walked her there she'd never want to go with me again! Although it's not a bad idea and maybe after we're both used to it I might try it. I just hate crossing streets with all the idiot drivers in this country.
The guard in our building is scared to death of dogs. He had to come up last night and take our old propane tank out of the kitchen and get a new one. When he took the old one Elektra growled at him from under the table (where I was making her stay). When he brought up the new one I stayed between them and she growled some more. When he left he was in such a hurry that he forgot to tell me how much I owed him! LOL So obviously when I go for a walk in the park, if I forget my cell phone like I did yesteray, who cares? Who's going to mess with me in a country where almost everyone's afraid of dogs? LOL

LOL! :-) That is so funny about Elektra and the poor guard! I wonder what he'll do the next time you need him?

Why is everybody afraid of dogs?? I, personally, am afraid of dogs because I was bitten as a child, but you made it sound like it's a cultural thing or something. What's up with that?
A lot of it's just cultural. Some religious. In Islam dogs are considered unclean. Many will still have dogs as pets but never in the house. But most just avoid them completely. Our friends who are afraid of them are petrified. One friend was at our house. When Elektra walked toward where he was sitting on the couch he grabbed Little Prince and put him between himself and her. Hiding behind a 3 year-old! Tsk, tsk, tsk.
