Forgot to tell you about their party. Thursday was the twins' birthday. They wanted to wait and have their cake with their friend but we haven't been able to find the time. Anyway when we took the Boss to taekwondo Thursday evening he told the captains there that it was their birthday. Everyone there is crazy about these two. The Little Prince loves to participate and the captain lets him. DH says he's dying to start training him. The Diva is a good kicker too...but she prefers to hang upside down from bar on the wall...much to everyone else's panic! The boys that train there are a little younger than the Boss (who's 10) to teenagers. They all fuss over them to some degree. (Gotta love living in an Arabian country.) When the captains found out it was their birthday, they said they wanted to get them a cake and to bring them on Sunday. The Boss was sick on Sunday so DH called and they said they'd do it Monday. They were smart though...they didn't get the cake until AFTER we showed up. LOL Instead of a cake, they got slices of a variety of cakes. (Mine was white cake with coconut on the frosting. YUM!) We sat and watched the boys do their training. We didn't get to see them fight because the power was out and they couldn't see well enough for it to be safe. Believe me, even when the place is lit up it's not safe. LOL They really go at it.
The twins have a blast there but I was a nervous wreck. They just run out onto the mats and play around all these long legs kicking at their partners with the pads. I'm calling them back and the captains are picking them up and swinging them around. Oh, my! I finally gave up and just prayed they wouldn't end up with brain damage.
